This series have water-cooled casing, and the casing is a double-layer structure. The first layer is a cooling layer for arranging cooling pipes, the second layer for fixing the stator. The water inlet and outlet were welded on the casing. The coolant circulate in the cooling layer to keep the PMG temperature controlled. This solution can effectively stabilize the PMG temperature the performance. And dramatically reduced the PMG volume. It normally used for the charging of extended-range vehicles or the vehicles with strict volume requirements.
